Created in 2016 for the Interactive Media Arts course.
I was given the assignment to make a vinyl cover ,front and back, and the sticker that goes on middle of the vinyl. This the cover of the vinyl. Deadmau5, if you don't know is an techno musician that is known for wearing a helmet in the shape of a mouse with big ears and eyes. I decided for the cover to put together all of his previous album cover artworks into one to create a Deadmau5 Greatest Hit's vinyl. Each head on the cover represents an album in order that they were released to represent his progression as an techno musician.
This is the back the vinyl. Since techno music is most often seen as futuristic and heavily technology based I wanted the text to look have a futuristic tech feel.
This is the front side of the vinyl sticker. It's DeadMau5s head in white to contrast the bright red that I kept with the rest of the artwork with side 1 indicating which side your playing music on.
For the sticker that goes on the back of the vinyl I made it look like you were viewing his helmet from behind since you flipped the vinyl record. I added a little cord to the back of the helmet aswell.
