Created in 2016 while working for The City of Brandon.
I was to create a logo for The Rapid City and District Chamber of Commerce. I first started off with a red letter "C" and then with the negative space I created the letter "R" behind it, the first letters of Rapid and City. Then with varying font sizes and a stacking layout I made the legal title of the company underneath.
Since I had to create this for a company I had to show them what it would look like both in colour and black and white. This would show them what it would look like if it were printed on documents, letters and any other type of document. So I created this to show them what it would like.
I wanted to create the same logo but put the image beside the text. This was to show that the logo could work horizontally if needed.
I created the horizontal logo in black and white aswell.
