Created in 2015 for the Interactive Media Arts course.
This is the second portfolio that I created once I graduated from Assiniboine Community College (ACC). It was definitely an improvement from my first portfolio. I wanted it to have a minimalist look and layout. The main colour that I used throughout the website was a light blue but tried to use just black and white whenever possible. The landing page said my name and position and all of my socials. At the top was my logo, that was wayyy to large compared to the navigation right beside it.
Here I added a image of myself when I was a baby to add that connection to myself. Then beside just a little blurb about myself.
This is where I listed out my work experience that I had at the time.
Here I list out my skills out with PDF downloads underneath. One is a regular resume with the other one being a infographic of resume if they would rather have a more concise description of my work experience and skills. The Konami logo in the bottom left is a little easter egg that I left for the user to discover. Konami is known for one of their cheat codes, the Konami code, ↑↑↓↓←→←→BA. Once the user entered this on their keyboard a message would appear saying "There's no place like 127.0.0.1" and they would be redirected to a youtube video.
This is where I first decided to implement the tile system to show off my pieces of work Once you hovered over a tile the name of the project would appear and a link linking to the project page.
Similar to what I'm doing on this portfolio I have images and text to explain my work for each project.
On the contact page I simply put a contact form that uses PHP to send me emails. Beside said form I put a Google map that would show what city I lived in at the time.
